Random Poem:

beautiful abomination (san fransisco, 2005)

so we boarded a train,
you and i,
at 9 o'clock on a sunday.
you, in your french jeans
smoking your french cigarettes
me, in my eskimo boots
listening to showtunes.
we were told
we were told that we should be accepted
for our abomination
we should be proud of our
if only for a week in june
set aside for people like us
so we boarded a train,
you and i,
and flew away from home
as fast as twenty tons of steel
could carry us
