Random Poem:

I arrived somewhat early,
High in the parking structure,
Across from the venue of
A poetry reading of all things.
There was a young family,
The parents and a tiny daughter.
“Germs,” the mother said.
“Push the elevator button only once.”
The girl pushed it repeatedly,
With her index finger.
The elevator door opened.
“Germs,” the mother said again.
“Only once, push the ‘G.’”
The girl pushed the button,
Again and again.
Then she sucked her finger.
