Random Poem:

Such is the end to every story

Maybe our story
Was never really meant to be
And, as such, should have remained untold
Lurking in the shadows under your bed
Like secrets never shared
Such should have been your love for me
Maybe if we had seen the foolishness of it all
We could have stopped this speeding train
We could have let it go in time
But now the lips I loved to kiss
The eyes in which I'd willingly drown
And the face of a loved one
All is lost in the fog, a groggy memory of you
As I am drowning every minute of every hour
Consumed by midnight moonshine
