Random Poem:

Loner Man

Everyday, waking up,
Alone, at home,
Our man, this loner man,
Has nothing of his own.
No mum or dad to greet in the morning,
No children to see playing in the afternoon,
No wife to hug and kiss in the evening,
No family to speak of, not even soon.
Wasting his life, alone at home,
Looking out the window at bustling streets and crowds,
Everything passes by his lowly abode,
Leaving it shrouded in past time clouds.
Destined to lead a lonesome life,
One full of grief and sorrow,
Yearning to lead a plentiful life,
Not one like this perpetual hollow.
Ever wanting to have love in life,
Ever wanting to experience this great gift,
Ever wanting to feel loved by one,
Can’t be done, for he is ever trapped in life’s drifts.
The day passes by,
Another 24 hours gone,
Another day to strike off from his calendar,
Our loner man (has no choice but to) accept this life of bliss and wonder.
