Random Poem:

we live
gjenkins

in horrid wet-rock dialogue
 1
as if to say, now now now
 2
as our generals deliver bombs in beds
 3
of frontyard roses,
 4
we live as poets, writers, dishwashers, discontent husbands sitting on too soft barstools,
 5
as the Yeats, Sandburgs and Eigners
 6
are put into space capsules and blasted into new eternies, for something or someone
 7
who has good intent and will give their swollen heads something to think about.
 8

we live through the defecation of glistening bathing  beauties on tv screens knowing triumphs may be
 9
tomorrow, that we try not to think about....
 10

I wonder about the tombs, I want to
 11
rattle their bones and listen to their whispered
 12
rhapsodies, wait, they ask, have you no decency of useless chatter, tell us of the living.
 13
there's not much to tell, I reply, they're not finish yet,
 14
