Random Poem:

gospel girl

I am Joan of many
arcs, and arches -
bowed bright beams
formed to imitate truth,
for there IS still truth
in the seeming.
I can cast my seeing stones
gone dumb from disuse
(like dead tongues and
  deeper dreams);
insisting upon divinity
as though my course
were charted cosmically.
so yeah, I can make a bridge
of light to spit us and split us
so far away,
a slender stair of stars
ascending ever
to a brighter place.
but there is a sanctity
of Two that cannot
be disregarded:
a constellations' coupling
come to break open
all hearts and heads,
a darking dance made
infinite by inclination,
caught here in a strange
chill book of rhymes
and errant reason.
