Random Poem:

on my return (re-make)

Half their faces twist in pitiful mimics
faking pain
for my absence and sickness.
The other half don’t even bother;
ignoring causes
no alteration.
I wonder whether which one is less
repulsive; they have both
let me down.
Still I never expected more from them;
this doesn’t move me,
it provokes me:
like a smell
I can’t reject,
like a wound
I cannot heal
they came along, faking
in hypocrisy’s bloom,
and I stood still,
half scared, half ill.
