Random Poem:

Without humor

What would I ever
come up with or do?
I would run for the
tomatoes, call upon
the plums. Perhaps play
the strings of dreaming,
stand atop a pond of glass.
I would run and crawl
and tug on her dress with
my ally the floor.
I would try out every fruit,
but every texture, every burst
would not suffice to give me
that rolling hint of gold.
