Random Poem:

a wadded up whatever

i wrote you
i wrote you a lot  and i
put you in a shoe box   and i
left you to rot with the dust of days
of our inconsiderate lives   and i
never slept with soaps   or sang
in opera during nap time
when a baby cried    and i
couldn't get my milk to make it
every three hours    enough to hold
a tiny belly over
until it crawled    along the floor
looking for a crumb    a thumb
still snug inside a mouth
too small to curse    or say a prayer
and i was there
and i wrote you
i wrote you a lot   and i
left you to not
ever know
