Random Poem:

In a prison of your own Making

I hope that these lines betray me
that they cause you to see
that not all is right with me.
In the darkness of this despair,
in the evening of my disrepair,I
...i am broken.
In my self inflicted solitude,
alone in my sadness,
i confess in silence
my tears held back.
I want these words to stain
this pure white page,
with an honesty unchecked,
to choke the cradle that rocks
and shake the hand that breaks.
I want to rattle the walls of sensitivity
to crash down the doors that conceal,
this foolish prison of pride,
i no longer want to hide,
to pretend everything is alright.
I need the light
to penetrate this darkness
and finally free me...
