Random Poem:

The hallway smelled of
With its silent, brooding stairs.
Above we hid, in blankets soft
But heavy with bleeding air.
The railing creaked with sculpted tone,
A mournful weeping sound.
Even blinded faith,
We girls knew,
Could never help us now.
An arsonist within our brood,
A traitor with winking eyes,
A matchlit hand
With no trace of smoke
To reveal those fatal lies,
This anxious wait
With bated breath
Conceals ancient lullabies
With only ashes left...
