Random Poem:

i just remind you of yesterday

i swear i've seen you move this way before
i watch myself cry into your reflection- torn between wanting light to be a figment of my idealistic creations and
wanting a spotlight to shine down on me right at this very moment.
i pictured my face
in between the gasps of desperate
and seemingly infinate abandon
i saw my eyes look lost without caring and
distant without hope.
i wish we'd found this place before i'd knitted myself a cocoon and immersed my existance into bite sized portions for the next floating sparrow to devour.
complete distraction underwhelms my existance.
i wish
i'd worn your soul on my skin
and touched the world with your being.
it meant i could keep our code, our number,
our security and our lives
mine and all mine and not have to share it without you
because you were the only part of myself i could look in the eye and call
