Random Poem:

The Broken Relationships of a Car Crash in Slow Motion

Knee and dash meet, and bond
The knee sending a telegram of divorce
To my hip, the force of the message
Splaying the wires along the way
The KKK’s perfect semicircle
Lines of meeting in my mouth
Broken by the black brawn of the bumps
On my steering wheel
My spine does the worm
“Show off...”
The brain leaves his company
To play on loose optic jellies
Crestfallen, my heart kicks out
My prayers
“I’m taking this!”: my soul,
Speeding and crying at the thought of not returning
