Random Poem:

Laughing at Forever

Bleak canvas of light’s mourning
To mask the entwining shadows
Illuminated like the wisp of a breath
Within winters frigid air
All who glimpse a view into the
Deep recesses of the night’s longing
Cannot disentangle the breached illusion
Of gasping, moaning utterance of songs
They are those who cry out
For the loss of the depth of the darkest that comes before
A departure, such desire, sadness embraced no more
Forewarned, the hidden hope lying untraced by phantom fingers
Only a memory to recognize a host of spiritual disarming
