Random Poem:

End of the Journey: The Testimony

I burrowed my face into the ashes
with honey on my nose - it sticks and drips.
Cloaked figures immersed my mourning,
slide 'cross my chest with olfatory mercy.
It rises with the sea and crashes quietly in my mouth. Oh bittersweet love, how vague the taste that faith preserved. I packaged and sold it to the crowds.
They spread it on their toast and sang threnodies
with your humble servant.
Forgive this sinner / entrepeneur -
Oh God, it shall not recur.
