Random Poem:

Ceiling Nights

You took a match to the sky
And your  magenta lies
Collided with the night
Like a ribbon dancer on fire
Kept two stars in your back pocket
And sided with the moon
Hid behind it’s great light
You practiced your poker face
Held your sacred cards behind your back
Shuffled them
Saw which one was better for that day
Which one reflected in the glass of your eyes
But your hands are tiny
And I see your queen slip between your fingers
When you think no ones looking
Burn me out with the sky
Let the dashes of pink
Last like confetti
Pencil me in like a constellation
Or in your little black book
