Random Poem:

Daddies' Girl

You know
that Dad of mine
is one of a kind
No matter how irritating he can be
No one seems to mind
His jokes are corny and
he sleeps alot
But he rests with one eye open
so my brothers and I always get caught.
He can fix just about anything
so I think I'll keep him around
and he shook hands with a Senator
so I figure the money should be pooring
in bounds.
Who else, but me
to inherit that cash
but the oldest child
I might not spend it wisely though
Because its my dad's genes
that make me wild
But my dad has taught me when I am
supposed to act like an adult
if I ever mess up
he doesn't ever hold me at fault
He smiles and winks in order to remind me
of the lady I am supposed to be
I know I owe him so much
but my Dad is quick to forget the
debts of his daughter and such
There are times when his constant right answers
and I Told Ya So's
make me mad
but all these past things
are why
I Love my Dad
