If You Were Gone

If you left me what would I do?	1
You’re my best friend,	2
You know me the best.	3

You know when I’m happy,	4
You know when I’m sad,	5
You always know what to do even when I’m mad.	6

Sure you let me down,	7
But you’ve always brought me back up	8

You scared me that night I thought I would never see you again	9
I thought you’d leave my sight.	10
What would I do, what would I say?	11

I’m glad you’re okay	12
So that our memories can grow,	13
And so will we.	14
No matter what happens, even if worse comes to worse	15
We’ll always be there for each other	16

From laughing in church,	17
To flirting with boys	18
No longer playing with toys	19
Wow, we’ve grown up	20

The memories of us will never be forgotten	21
No matter what were to happen.	22

You’ve helped me so much,	23
You’ve made me see that true friends are hard to find,	24
But somehow I’ve found you.	25

Now that I’ve found you	26
What would I do if I were ever to lose you?	27

That’s a type of pain I never want to see,	28
Because no one has ever been there for me quite like you	29

So thank you for always being my friend, even when times get tough	30
