I hadn't written a poem since Dec 11th, but I just finished a new one. Wow, that felt good.

Anyone else having the same problem recently?

I hardly write any of my poems down. They sit in my head, sometimes getting forgotten, sometimes getting written, depending on whether I find the time........now I'm going to look at your poem. :-)

I haven't written a poem in over a year, but I look at the faces of the Indigenous that I advocate for, and listen to the music that flies from the fingertips of my son, and smell the breeze that tickles the gum trees around the estuary where I reside, and I realize, that I'm living one.

Fantastic write, CW. Two thumbs up for this. Two thumbs down for not posting it where it belongs. I give this a 9 1/2 and add it to my favorites.

I'd play with the line breaks a little though. I've always sucked at line breaks in free verse and well, it is yours after all.  :)
