Do you guys actually go back and read your favorites? I mean, some of you have like 10,000 favorites. Or is it just a small show of respect... like a 10+1.

I was just wondering because I have only added one or two favorites ever, and I did read them when I felt like it. But when you have like 50 or more, I wonder if you even remember which is which...

Yes, I go back and read my faves occasionally. I save to favorites those poems which truly impressed or inspired me but I also save those which I'd like to keep up on how the comments section is developing. Occasionally, I sift through them and remove some of the latter. I don't want to have 10,000 favorites.

I save favorite as a compliment to the author - to let them know that the poem was more than a 10 for me.

I fave to compliment the author as well
and some days I take great joy in reading them all,
sometimes tossing in a visitor's comment to let the writer know that i still love it.

yeah, that is a good use of it to keep up on a comment thread development, but i suppose that calls for a new feature for PC.

Actually, you don't need to use your favorite-ing PC tool for that, our profiles keep track of what poems we have recently commented on.

But than again some are more diligent and prolific in their comments, so a tool that we could click on to see what poems we have commented on and how many. Or maybe we should get updates when a poem we have commented on is replied to.

Anyways, we shouldn't have to use our favorite tool just to keep track of poetry discussion.

I mean you can, nothing wrong with that, a different tool for that just seems appropriate.
