OK, Cerulise, though I am not convinced!

TO AVOID confusion between the normal Cerulise and the abby-normal joey,
I will make a point to never call the twaddling joey anything other than

Twaddles

_______

Will reinstate the thread he (Twaddles) ruined, and adjust its title just a bit

"poetic thread" -- and "ruined" your lawn party. you're such a suburbanite about this. this isn't a wedding shower, dude, it's a critical forum and being critical is what we do.

are you dying of AIDS or something? is that the trip? is your brain going? don't you at long last have any integrity towards what's the best in you? can you not go out honestly and write a genuine art -- invent a language for yourself alone, and one so ferocious we'd have to learn you and learn you a hundred times before we even began to see how beautiful you were. this way, what you're doing now, we're only going to remember your caked lipstick and runny eyes. that's not the way for a poet to go out.

sorry to butt in, but joey is online now.

i'd be delighted to witness whatever pleases you

Because Joey as everyone here perceives him isn't real.

re: bad call  fractalcore  22 Jun 08 6:25PM Thread Closed

hmm, that's a good thought.

what happens when he bullies some joe here for instance?
does that joe feel something as a reaction? that in itself is
real as far as the joe is concerned 'coz joey knows where to
prick the voodoo needle on that joe dull, er doll. he's trying
to reach out to our sensibilities, our being, that core where
we can only be ourselves as human beings first and foremost
and second only as poets or artists. it's ok to get really
sympathetic/empathetic about some people getting hit by a
storm or any calamity at all but we can sometimes only do so
much on such an occasion.

take jeezuss for instance. he was way too kind in words
compared to joey but did everybody in his era like him?
even if boo-duh lived where jeezuss lived, either dueds
would have told the other to find his own voice or the reality
in him to understand the other. OR that wouldn't have been
necessary at all if both of them really knew, saw, and confirmed
for themselves what they knew, saw, and and confirmed for
themselves.

don't you think john doe baptist was a kool guy two?

i think the only sacrifice we have to make is in appearance -- we aren't going to look nice -- though, in daily life i am kind to everyone i meet. but, when we make the call that we're artists and not saints -- and don't even want to be saints, cause that's just not our manner -- not our medium -- manipulating people into liking us as the representation of beauty -- but, instead, invent beauty and feel that what we're inventing is what everyone's talking about anyway -- yes, become an artist -- that we have to sacrifice selling anything at all except our consciousness made physical. a mother knows this, and a father intuits it -- but, kids don't get it at all -- wanting to follow the nice man, and wanting to be the nice man. isn't that our apprenticeship? and isn't the truth and holy that not everyone wants to give up that sensual booger-pick of easy strokes? and, how can you tell them that writing itself,  or drawing a line, or making a motion in music -- is the steel-core neural belonging of mind-body that they're looking for so hard in t.v. and c.d and the next president and that new maseratti and all that beautiful boy and girl with their blond hands clasping veuve cliquot's formaldehyde with such smoothing lips? i write it -- that's all that's allowed.

ugly or not  fractalcore  22 Jun 08 8:03PM Thread Closed

an ugly person can never create beauty --
that is, by mostly earthly standards rather than
metaphysical. metaphysical can only mean
everything is beautiful no matter how ill-mannered
one is. so there's really no sacrifice made in
appearing and showing one's ugly face for a
meeting of sorts. in writing, we show our ugly
faces, too.
