I was at a neil young concert in dublin a few days ago- it was amazing, by far the best concert i've been to. Anyone else go to concerts- whats the best you've been at??

The last concert I was at was Shirley Horn in 1998. She autographed my "Loving You" CD. A year after that, I saw Nancy Wilson (the Jazz singer) live. She was awesome. I think she's better live than on record. :-)

Van Morrison is pretty mind blowing in concert and sings three feet away from the mic, doesn't stop between songs and goes on and on for ever, but is a right curmudgeonly bastard off stage. I only asked him fir 500 quid so i could get my ears repaired.

The last concert I went to was Foo Fighters. It was terrific, one of the best concerts I've ever been to. Neil Finn is terrific, I saw him play with Crowded House last November and it was terrific - he is a seriously talented muso. I've also been to Boyz II Men, KCi & JoJo, Linkin Park and Paul Potts. All were terrific.
I'm going to The Whitlams come November, they're playing at a theatre so that's going to be fantastic too!
Live music is awesome.

If you get a chance, do go. They are terrific live, Dave Grohl is god-like. One of the best $100 I ever spent :D

well, Dave had already been a drummer-god to me since Nirvana;
he still is, actually, 'coz i still listen to my 7 Nirvana albums, but that
drummer guy he has on Foo Fighters is awesome, too. And Dave is
a very talented guy, i should say. Is Pat Smear still with them?
i would go to their concert if i could come up with $100;
in the meantime, i'll settle with making my dream of
getting all of their albums to my archive a reality --
that, first and foremost.

^_^ I sponsor my best friend concert tickets, so all the concerts I've been to ended up really expensive =P Let you in on a secret - I don't like Nirvana and think that they held Davey Grohl back. Yep, pelt me with rubbish now xD
Taylor Hawkins is excellent to watch drumming - he sang and drummed on one of the songs at the concert, pretty good albeit breathless.
I think Pat still plays with the Foos, although I'm not 100% - I only ever really know the frontmen of bands, if at all =P

Best live show I've ever seen was KISS at this years Download festival.
They were absolutely amaaaaazing!
Also, Mindless self indulgence put on a damned good show, massively energy packed.
Marilyn Manson was awesome live, completely deranged, but excellent.
