Explain white guilt, please. If you refer to slavery, my people never owned slaves so I have no guilt there. We were not here to hurt the Indians so no guilt there. I haven't raped or pillage recently, no guilt there. My German ancestors fled the war so no Nazi's on my side to feel guilty about. We were not Crusaders, killing in God's name, either.
You go ahead and feel guilty if you want but don't spread it around as if the entire Caucasian populace has to bear some guilt that you find upon your own shoulders.

Rightly said, Starr.
Myself, I am a cynic with a soft heart and not least "spiritual".
Yet, I met Bobby that recent night again. Every time I meet Bobby I better sense his natural grace and beauty.
Yesterday I met Jamie Gross, a regular guy, except that he is a hero, selfless in the face of an emergency situation, a person you'd want to know if things go wrong.
I meet these people by happy accident. I hardly get out of the house, but when I do,
I look for miracle-humans and I find them. Quiet, often homely, unimpressed by themselves,
they completely capture my imagination and make me happy to be alive as a witness of right-minded others.

Net, many of us have these experiences - strangers come to me all the time, to the point where I have to act in a rush or snotty so they won't be tempted! Miracle humans, I love that. We are the lucky ones, though, we get to meet real people who have nothing to hide and nothing to lose by opening to us.
My sister has the same problem. One day, at a gas station in the middle of the mid-west, her husband went to the resting room while the owner pumped gas. He came back to find the guy sobbing, with his head on the hood of the car! He had opened his heart to my sister and vented his grief. When Bob heard that I am the same way, he said he'd never go anyplace with us together!
It's a joy, don't you think? The down side is that there are so actual losers in the group, people who will suck you dry if you allow it. I've learned that you have to go through the draining a few times before you realize that without some water left in the well, there is no priming of the pump.

there isnt much special here and i am not feeling too cynical. you're caught up in some constant need to find humanity, meaning in a random universe or you could just have white guilt.
I'd answer the question if in fact a question was asked. This is a statement. Better learn your punctuation marks.

Netsky, thanks, brotha. I, too, meet Miracle Humans on a day to day basis. I perpetually keep my heart open to new people and the right ones always seem to come my way. There was Ellie, my favorite little angel who lived in the homeless shelter I worked in for six years. I took care of her daily and when she died I was devastated. She's still with me though. I feel her often. Then there's Sister Mary Michael who took me under her wing when I had moved to Maine from Boston. She was another one of those special Miracle Humans too. he helped me so much with adapting in my new state and with being homesick for Massachusetts. They're all around waiting for someone to come and welcome them in. I, too, Net, am quite the tender-hearted man. Ugliness in all/any people disgusts me. Like I always say, "Haters, hate on." I got too much love for people to be a hater. Stay open, buddy. And Isabelle too. It's a beautiful thing when you can reach out, touch and be touched back by a loving, gentle stranger. :-)

Isn't "Freedom" guilt enough?
