I don't have anything to be guilty of.  I'm free.  I'm happy and I'm a good person.   No guilt in that.

I dislike cockroaches and unsigned critics for the same reason:
neither bears a name, or responsibility, and operate best in dark corners.
They scurry and hurry.  But only the cockroach serves an organic purpose
toward legitimate decay.  The unsigned critic merely tries to instigate decay,
or rather, unload his/her own internal problems onto others.
On second thought, I like cockroaches OK after comparison.

they're eating you from the inside...

why worry if it is legitimate decay?

I LOVE cockroaches.  They're cute the way they feel around with their little antennae...I wouldn't want any in my apartment, but they're cute nonetheless.  They remind me of little aliens or somethin'.  ...And agreed about people who can't stand behind their name.  Anonymity is often a sign of weakness in my book.

Cockroaches are roaches.    Kill 'em if you hate 'em and smoke 'em if you don't.
: )

----- NOT WANTING to start a new thread, cos this one is cooking up fine as five minute oats,   just found an amazing early film, it is a careful reconstruction of a fragmented movie that was soon banned, mild as it was, but there, right in the open:
people are such haters.

First film ever to deal explicitly with the topic of homosexuals.
DIFFERENT THAN THE OTHERS (1919)

It is worth slogging through the whole thing, understand the mores, the style of acting for early silents was different than we understand today.

These tragedies continued into my time too.   Blackmail, job loss, jail, suicide, all precipitated by a Christian-mandated system of "justice".

LOL @ Isabelle.  I don't know...they kinda remind me of grasshoppers or crickets or somethin', but I just think they're cute.  I've (thankfully) never had any in any of my places of residence, but I've seen 'em b4 at jobs and such.  My father once owned a scummy tenement when I was a little kid.  It was a six family 3-floor craphole from Hell.  I used to go with him for any service calls he had to do there.  Once a tenant called and said her oven pilot wouldn't light, so I went with him to watch him light the woman's oven.  She had just placed pork roast into the oven and turned on the gas, but nothing happened and she was afraid of fire, so my father opens the oven door, lights the pilot and turns up the oven to 350.  All of a sudden, the entire pork roast was covered with cockroaches.  It was the weirdest thing I ever saw in my entire life.  Yuck!

"Christian-mandated system of justice" indeed.  Yup.  What most fail to realize is that one's sexuality is not a choice.  It just IS.  And of course, most also believe that THEIR way is the ONLY way and they need to get over themselves.  No one tells THEM how to live THEIR lives.  And if someone DID, you wouldn't hear the end of it.  Besides that, most people have the opinion that all homosexuals are meek, feminine, are sexual predators, carry H.I.V. (Wasn't THAT proved wrong in the 90's!) etc...I've known Gay guys that would snap people who messed with 'em in half.  Homosexuality is about sexuality, not about persona.  However, there are those who, by their very actions, mannerisms, own choices sadly make it that way for the way the public perceives it the entire population.  Me?  I'm a good person, so the haters don't bother me and if they did, they'd most likely be snapped in 1/2 too.
