Well I never could stand Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy gives me the creeps.

Hi netskyIam The African Queen has got to be the pits in bad acting the sound effects are not too bad for a bath full of water, the splashing was very effective.

It's true that the in-water scenes had to be flimed in a British studio in order to save the actors from risk of water borne disease organisms endemic to African rivers.
So the water scenes were relegated the world's largest tepid teapot: England!
May God strike me dead for that little cut. He will, you know, rallly.
