Since I am not a close friend or a firm believer in art critique, I am being antagonized via email by Mike Bauer about Shining Jeezus something or other, I don't know, I've already deleted it. I believe this is a test to see if I am worthy of his forum.

I tried to join joey’s site but they would not have me. I wonder why!
So I joined Allpoetry instead, now that is a busy site there is usually between six and eight hundred members on site at any one time, and your poetry is off the first page in about thirty seconds flat.
Their Forum’s are reasonably good.
I posted quite a number of poems and never had a comment (I don’t suppose I ever will).
But I am quite philosophical about it, does it really matter. Does it hell, it’s out there in space glowering at me like a little star.

You see, folks, some people do not need critique. They KWYADAWYADI, so to speak. In italic above is one of the keenest gems of insight you will ever read.

hi, and thank you for your interest in the forum. can you point me to some of your writing and maybe your crit style so i can see if you're going to be ok posting in p&p? i don't recognize your name and i'm concerned that you might not feel comfortable critiquing poetry for craft and structure? no matter how pure and perfect the subject and content... ;)

yah, your poetry writing is ok, but your crits are kind of incomprehensible. are you ok with people thinking a poem which talks about the most jeezus-pure things can be bad writing because it doesn't write as pure as the things it's talking about? can you slam john keats and shelly and shakespeare, for instance, when you feel in your guts that they're faking it?

choke-kay, if you think this is about you personally and antagonistic, then i think you're neglecting your meds. maybe netsky can back you on this antagonistic bandwagon and fad thing you guys are into now, but it looks to me like i was saying something about your crit style... 'me think this so good/bad' and that your poetry writing was ok but i wasn't sure if you'd be comfortable with the crit dialog. that was the point of mentioning those other writings -- to ask if you were independent and serious enough a writer to have had problems with other writers and wanted to re-write what you'd read. that's the kind of crit i'm looking for for my own writing. i was willing to let you join, but i think you're not willing to put out enough... this post 'antagonistic' fits the profile of hobbyist writer, and there's a neat place for you called splash hall, where everyone has to be old and stuffy or young and fluffy.
this comment is, i believe, antagonistic, yes.

Poor little joey, how sad he has to cocoon himself in his own exclusive cell to be fed titbits by the young and foolish amongst us, those easily impressionable minds of little discernment or importance.
What a shame that no one outside his private circle will ever be able to read the magic of his genius.
I do hope he allows mongrol into that exclusive menagerie that would at least be the only worthwhile service he has ever performed on PC.
Maybe joey has a reason for hiding his light under a bush, possibly it is not such a bright light after all, and I don’t think it would scare many fireflies away regardless of the nature of the questions...
Possibly he has an aversion to the answers.
