Knee replacement surgery  PaulS  2 Dec 10 8:36AM Thread Closed

I'm having total knee replacement surgery in January and was wondering if anyone here has had that procedure.  If so could you give me a little insight into what i can expect?

No knee replacement (yet anyway!) but want to wish you a speedy recovery post surgery.

I do know someone, in their early 50's, who recently had hip replacement surgery.  She is pain free, walks without a cane now, and says she wishes she had done it several years ago when the doctors first recommended it.

Hey Paul.  Hope it goes smoothly for you.  Remember to take Colace with the pain meds!  Very important!  lol...
