so overwhelmed, | 11 |
and lost in misguided ways | 12 |
that I’ve seem to set before me, | 13 |
obstacles that have broken my spirit, | 14 |
over-heard words that caused | 15 |
tear ducts to spill over. | 16 |
I slip and | 17 |
fall. | 18 |

Finished, | 19 |
a hammered nail, | 20 |
and falling from the sky | 21 |
never hurt so bad, but these | 22 |
broken dreams have disconnected me | 23 |
from the battery in my chest. | 24 |
Sideways mountains have | 25 |
no point, but I | 26 |

It's nice 'looking', but maybe you should try to make it rhythmic. Like 1 2 3 4 5 4 3 2 1. As it stands now it's just... alright.
