To think...
nicl

My intelligence is not my own
 1
It enters the head unbidden
 2
And is sown,
 3
By alien hands vanity calls my own.
 4

Whorls of light and fancy’s flashing flight
 5
Domesticating the darkness.
 6
Out of sight,
 7
I feel them all upstairs, itching to incite.
 8

Oh! I fear for my little lodgers so
 9
That is why I fight their entry.
 10
I’m afraid -
 11
That if any feel unwanted, they may go.

Its good, haven't seen anything like this lately.  The title fits, but its not as good as the poem.

Lines 4, 6, 12 are all brilliant.

yeah!  you made me think of my own self that way now... never question internal authority, eh? Yes!  That's my take, now..   Who writes my crap and who makes your beauties?  Not wee we.   Super good read; easy on the eyes.   My own little aliens demanded this commentary from me (sic) to yours.   "we" are having a party with lots of heads.. come!  205891885@389568 is the intercranial isp addy.  Come!  Much head will be enjoyed.  brrrrzzzt terminating transmission...zzzzz

I really love this. Just came across it with the random key. And it expresses something I'd almost been thinking along those lines these last few days. About responding to inner voices.
L4 is brilliant
L5 and 6 Yes
Thank you for this.
