Window Life
EdwardDurden

The window shone in sweet sunlight,
 1
Striking your eyes bitterly strong.
 2
Another minute and doom might be imminent.
 3
I need to be ready by 10 o'clock's gong.
 4

But how can I do it on such a day?
 5
10 minutes left but I'm stuck in my place.
 6
10 birds are singing, 10 less clouds in a blue sky.
 7
Warmth and breeze hold me still, still entrapped by leaves of green and mountains' gleam.
 8

Time is ticking; he'll soon be here.
 9
Rilo Kiley's Adventurous 10th playing, and time stops by my window.
 10
As I notice my neighbor's mummified car and home,
 11
He pulled up to my window, muffler roaring
 12
And I close my eyes and saw myself leaving
 13

NOT TO HEAVEN, BUT TO MY ETERNAL WINDOW...

Wow, the critisism is just flowing beautifully, ain't it. At least the first one had some class.
