used to the spin of things
tragicbubble

we collide without a crash to blend
 1
into particles green like grass
 2
and us still learning just how far
 3
to push before blades bruise dark
 4
blue like the hurt in you as orange rust
 5
and memories rush hard in after walls
 6
are let down soft and trusting only slightly
 7

in skin that lay nervous after frantic friction
 8
ground brilliant raw against black night
 9
enveloping me in that moment better forgotten
 10
and pulling back in to something that would require
 11
more than just drugs to be rid of the oily air that
 12
fills the space left when movement occurred.

Wow, the last two poems you postes read as one . . .
I love the breaks in this one and the images, I can choose to read the poem many different ways and take a breath as often or as rarely as I want to, and every time it works.  Great job . . . I really love your last two postings.  Write more!

This is an amazing poem. I love the imagery and the relationship between the crash and the green particles that you compared to grass. I also just love the way your words flow.
