Harvest Moon
Virgil

A citrus-colored butterfly dances on a raindrop of mud,
 1
Wrestling for strawberries, turning charms against ants.
 2
The ants claiming the sweet rotten fruit sport as yield,
 3
With the golden wheat fields pregnant near autumn.
 4

Tealeaves litter the ground,
 5
Sheltering the frog,
 6
Sweetening the river,
 7
Burning a fire high on the mountain,
 8
Where the monkeys huddle beneath the harvest moon.
