Happy Birthday Goddess
EdwardDurden

“Happy birthday” said the rabbit and deer.
 1
“Happy birthday” cried the bird and squirrel.
 2
“Our master has a message for you” said the owl with a smile, eyes dancing in delight.
 3
The ferrets guided you to a clearing,
 4
Where the air was dense and close.
 5
The sunlight broke through the trees
 6
And showed a disturbance in the Earth.
 7
Eyes watched from around, as she grew cautious.
 8
And suddenly, as the floor opened before her,
 9
She knew who the “Master” was.
 10
He rose from his magically crafted throne,
 11
Smiled, greater than can be described,
 12
And took her by the hand, down to his lair.
 13
The final sounds the animals heard
 14
Before the Earth closed other the humans' head
 15
Was the Master speaking “Happy birthday”.
