Terrible Friend

I feel like a failure	1
and a terrible friend	2
for falling so deeply	3
for the property of a friend.	4
As I worked off my ass	5
to give my friend a hope	6
a lasting smile	7
to make the day a new.	8
But I feel on the path to love	9
with the one my friend must have	10
and sadly in return	11
i think the love is mutual.	12
what can I do	13
to erase this bad thought	14
of a mistake that was not to occur	15
but did as hard as I tried not.	16
Forget that I met you	17
forget what we've shared	18
my friend means too much	19
though I love you much more.	20
