actually i found this to be a little sad, but i like how the rusty-faced robot rhing is so subservient. it's kind of like the submissive tin-woodsman.

This is a good start, but it could be muchmuchmuch better. Is there a reason the robot doesn't capitalize "i"? And why does he call himself the "rusty-faced robot thing"? We can presume that he's a rusty faced robot thing from the rest of the poem and there's something about that phrase that's very unrobotic.

this sounds familiar. not the poem itself, but the voice, like i know the author. hrm. oh well.
i like "rusty-faced robot thing." for me it sort of showed a lack of self worth on the part of the robot. oooh, but on the other hand that isn't very robotic. oye. i'm torn.
i like this though, and am thouroughly creeped out by the "i know you feeling." i'm going to go talk to real people now.
