despairs what once beat | 10 |

slipstream tears inked | 13 |
indelibly into bare skin, | 14 |
warm touch, and half a sheet | 15 |
of wax drawings. | 16 |

Well. It's beautifully impressionistic. On the other hand, it's quite an abstract.
I can't tell what it is about other than a female's sensitve musings. Abstractions
are, I think, over-relied on here. What is a wax drawing? "centuries" of lonliness?
So many metaphors without anchors for the reader to grasp too. I grabbed for wax
but &n bsp; I'm sli p p i ng
ouch! a half inch fall.
I like the poem anyway. Its atmospheric. — netskyIam
