i freaking love this. I was going to tell you the poem had a real crap title, but then I read it - a nice suprise :D. Enjoyed - though perhaps think about adding some capitalization? Or not - just a suggestion.

Awesome. This is perfect.
I have a hard enough time distinguishing nature poems from love poems, too. Yeah. This is like the almost-infinitely-better-written inverse of my best poem.
I wish there was a way to add favourite poets, rather than just poems, on this site.

Love this! What's really funny is that I am listening to modest mouse right now..one of my favorite songs "parting of the sensory" when I logged on here and this popped up! Your name obviously made me think of one of my fav. bands and...in the process...I found a new favorite poem. so simple and perfect.
