Slipping On a Memory
fried2noodle

she slips into his eyeball
 1
like tea eating into
 2
the tea-cup,
 3
"kill me"
 4
he cries,
 5

and cries and cries and cries
 6
and every feeling ever felt
 7
rushes into the lightning
 8
bolt thrust out from his
 9
throat, gasping
 10

out loud, flummoxed and
 11
decaying. he is trying
 12
to breathe once more
 13
but cannot stop himself
 14
from sippin' on some
 15
memory
 16

and seeing her.
 17
like a cracked tea-cup
 18
floating out to sea.
 19

tears slip-out,
 20
she slips in.
