we don't get much of this now, here, since the oprah army took over the critical part of poetry critical.

what this does -- it's not poetry -- is show that our mind holds thoughts in a way that our sounding out words can't cope with thoughts. which is why poetry compresses ideas, rather than clarifies them.

that is, we simplify our life as sound, rather than explain the universe in thought. there's no end to thought, but sound has its own patterns.
