My Flower will not bloom today
 1
The petals will not show!
 2
What malady- has struck her shy?
 3
What cure to give my Rose?
 4
 
 
Her countenance has wryly shrunk
 5
Her stem begins to brown.
 6
The thorns have lost their deadly stance.
 7
I can do naught- but sigh!
 8
 
 
To see her die away- so sad
 9
Why must she part so slow?
 10
I wish I was as cruel as stone!
 11
Why must a Heart break so?
 12
