vex money

coins from pocket into next
change of plans and pants
decrease wants not to be vext
musical pounds and pence
we harbor within ourselves
banks and banks, primitive gold
and our jingling jangling cells
unfold and fold and fold
so all the change to come our way
spend thrift liquid water
in advance we learn to play
pay never impressed my father

i like this, like the dancing of a coin on a magician's hand and the nick cave jingle jangling jack.

I like the title - presumable vex means hate - I don't know what the poem is about - I like the last line - money never impressed my father either
