when we were young we fought
the world was new and it was fun
we fought because it was fun
we are older now and do not fight
the fighting is over us grown
adults shake hands and pat backs

when we are old we fidget, and when we did-it, we didn't know, but did it. and, when we were young we were strung out and losers, pretending to be boozers, but then we graduated.
