Into The Light
klassicstrat

I've walked a long road in my time
 1
I walk alone, I guess that's fine
 2
Walked for so long, got left behind
 3
Walked for so long, got left behind
 4

Maybe I'll find,
 5
somewhere in time
 6
Maybe I'll see things
 7
Through my mind's eye
 8
And if I go,
 9
What will I see?
 10
Am I to know,
 11
Who I will be?
 12

A memory in the distance
 13
An empty thought, a lost essence
 14
As seasons turn, to fade
 15
I see my life slip away
 16

Shadow is my state of mind
 17
Help me to see, for I must be blind
 18
I've been alone, all through the night
 19
Help me to walk now, into the light!
 20

Maybe I'll find,
 21
somewhere in time
 22
Maybe I'll see things
 23
Through my mind's eye
 24
And if I go,
 25
What will I see?
 26
Am I to know,
 27
Who I will be?
 28

And when I dream
 29
It's not my dream
 30
And when I see
 31
It's not through me
 32
And when I talk
 33
It's not my voice
 34
There's no control
 35
I have no choice!
 36
I'm all alone
 37
There's no one else
 38
Not even me
 39
I can't find myself
 40
Cuz in the light
 41
You can see it all
 42
But in the darkness
 43
Is where you fall!

sometimes you walk that road alone my friend. i often think i am living another's life
it happens as if i am watching a movie.
the poem makes long and short of my own thoughts, are you really me?
