the brilliance of poetry is that it looks how it's read out loud. you can read the telephone book and have it sound pretty, but it's pretty much just a list like this one.

why not write a poem? people would comment. this is so deadly mechanical that it's even driving the pervs away. if you don't want to become a better writer, but, instead, are working on becoming a religious visionary, you should make a fish mark or voodoo hex sign or something to clue the reader.
