the house I went mad in
OCTOGENARIAN

it still tip-toes it's way
 1
into the apartment I live in now
 2
its brick drapes over
 3
the white walls here
 4
its ooze of barely
 5
luminating light fills my new bedroom
 6
my old home warns me never to let
 7
my skeleton be strung together by the hard bones of intensity again
 8
because its so easy after doing it for so many years
 9
to still swing your clenched fists
 10
even if they 're punching only at air
 11
truthfully, I'd rather just stay a bafoon
 12
that makes a woman giggle
 13
in the face of staticky radios
 14
and sandstorms in the kiddy parks
 15
I'd even like to show the people
 16
who only remember my insanity
 17
that I looked upon them
 18
with blooming eyes
 19
way down beneath
 20
the whirlpools of madness
 21
and let my gaze say
 22
"learn from me,
 23
laugh so loud
 24
you can't hear the grave"
