Galliano your Firecracker is in decline
and with summer spent,
your orange wing has been eclipsed,
down dusty lanes
sandals over shoulders
there's a new current
in fields of resistively
bales of straw
and corn flowers share
your sense of  resonance
lodge your protests.
But remember you are strong
Galliano your Firecracker
was more than life
do not weep its demise
but marvel for its existence.
