Do I dream?,
a question arises.
Do I hope?,
this stance surprises.
Do the birds fly?,
silly I mesmerizes.
Yes, I dream,
which flows like a stream.
Yes, I hope,
which works as a life saving rope.

This feels akin to the declaration "I think therefore I am", though it appears to cross with a personal declaration for a need of these things as much as it does declare that they are real. The ultimate message comes to me that the person believes in these things because they need to, as much as because all apparent evidence says they are real. An interesting layout of one's worldview.
