Angel Trail

Angels inhabit space between stars.
Fly by night at speeds of light,
leave faint traces not sighted from Earth.
Occasionally one strays,
and evening walkers
may feel waylaid, immersed,
almost a re-birth,
momentarily stumbling through the tail
of an Angel's trail,
heading to far constellations.
Waking among yawns,
some wonder why they heard lullabies
and slept so far beyond the dawn.
