the immense burdens of tanned peoples
unknown

bring me only tanned people
 1
she said
 2
not black or white yellow or
 3
brown
 4
but those who represent
 5
vitality, youth, the future
 6
choice and mystery
 7
glitter
 8
I want a legion of tutankhamuns
 9
worshipping me
 10
fluorescent frauds
 11
who wear a perpetual sunrise
 12
on their faces
 13
glow in the dark
 14
are immune from disease
 15
don't remind me
 16
of politics or
 17
death.
