Grays In My Dreams
pound809

The grays in my dreams keep telling me,
 1
“You will be consumed in mysteries,
 2
You will be arraigned by shining hosts!
 3

Will you wake in forests of evening stars
 4
Where huddled up in celestial beams
 5
You’ll channel their planetary light?
 6

Or will you succumb to midnight men
 7
Who pine on you with mournful eyes
 8
And sift through your closeted shrieks?”
 9

The grays in my dreams keep telling me,
 10
“You will be consumed in mysteries,
 11
You will be arraigned by shining hosts!”

the word "hosts" disappoints me. I don't really know what it means.

I’m sorry the term disappoints . Its actually lifted from a Christian hymn though of course I’m using it differently
