The Fall

Big bang shockwaves
Rampage through the soul,
Wave after wave of pummeling grief
From Eve’s burning ramparts tumbling down.
His mind full of noontide shadows now,
His soul like a flooded bridge,
Blaming her for his seismic shrieks
And subsequent plunge into the void!
Insanity’s muse, reality’s god,
Triumphantly crowing: “from all her sins
Erotically procured, look at him now,
He’s a self loathing pig,
And she, from all his
Grunts and braying teeth,
Has put on a gorgons terrible scales
And weeps through a terrible shroud!”
